Mr Gregory Scott Fincham MBBCh, BSc(hons), PGCME, MD(Res), FRCOphth

Mr Fincham is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon. He has developed sound clinical knowledge and skills working for the NHS in England, Wales and Scotland over the last twenty years. In addition, he has experience working in the developing world, having trained in South Africa and managed a Charity Eye Hospital in Cambodia.

Mr Fincham undertook his sub-specialist Oculoplastic Fellowship training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and a second Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Fellowship at the Bristol Eye Hospital. He holds full GMC registration with a licence to practice in the United Kingdom and was entered onto the Specialist Register in September 2016. He is currently appointed as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon at the University Hospital Ayr and University Hospital Crosshouse.

Mr Fincham has a passion for teaching and obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Bedfordshire. He has undertaken University teaching appointments at the University of Oxford and the University of Puthisastra. He contributes to the International Council of Ophthalmologists Fellowship assessments and is an NHS e-Learning for Healthcare writer.
